The present Convention shall not affect the application of Article 23 of the Convention on civil procedure signed at The Hague on 17th July 1905, or of Article 24 of the Convention on civil procedure signed at The Hague on 1st March 1954. These Articles shall, however, apply only if methods of communication, identical to those provided for in these Conventions, are used.
